This is the chess section.  I will be posting archives
of games, a database of opening lines, and information
regarding the LMHS chess team. 

CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS to the chess team for beating Upper Darby
to clinch 1st place in the Main Line league!!!
We had a narrow win of 3-2!
  No thanx to Mike for his consistent attendance.
  New members are welcome this.

In March (?), we will be traveling to the state 
scholastic championships (thx to Pat for driving).

The LMHS chess team meets Tuesdays & Thursdays at room
305.  The sponsor is Mr. Brooks.  We are #1 in the
main line league with a well-balanced team.  Anyone
can join the chess team, but only the elite 5 play.
Absent players are common. Mike
is paralyzed or something; thus, we welcome new members.
Note: if you come here just to get credit for national
honors, then you will be kicked out.
